In App Payments

    Hi folks,

I've been doing some research but I'm finding it hard to get a concrete answer to this. I assume it's buried somewhere in the apple/google terms jargon but I haven't been able to find it.

They charge roughly 30% on payments accepted through an app but I have come across a few references stating that if the payment is for a service/product outside of the app, you are not subjected to that 30% ?

Could anyone clarify this for me, or point me in the right direction? I've searched the forum and can't find anything specifically about this.

    Much obliged!
