Arsenal are in amazing form at the moment, I would be delighted with a draw hopefully Kane scores our goals

That's a very weak bench for Spurs it must be said.

Bit odd for Spurs to have red training tops at the Emirates.

Knee injury in training. Out for "a few weeks".

Who knows which way this will go. Spurs haven't scored many or conceded many this season.

Arsenal to score early would be ideal.

Spurs the better team so far, Arsenal haven't really got going.

Arsenal aren't getting the space up front that they'd like. Spurs getting a lot of possession in the Arsenal half but it all seems very scattered and disorganized.

Game stopped because Walker refused to leave the field.

    Should be 1 0

    Awful finish from Iwobi ffs

Arsenal denied a stonewall penalty there. Typical of Clattenberg.

Defender feels he has to head it with Sanchez behind him and he was offside from the start. That should be offside to me anyway.

He probably should have flagged anyway though when the ball was crossed. Would have been a decision then to give it or not.

Thought it was offside too and Im an Arsenal fan.

Not that I care tho :D

Spurs had a good opening 15 min but Arsenal were well on top by the end. Seemed to cut through Spurs a good couple of times

How was Sanchez (Kos) offside if he was behind him??? 🤔🤔🤔

The offside players were to the left of Wimmer

Arsenal upsetting the sensibilities of some it seems 😂😂😂

No, it was Koscielny challenging for the ball with Wimmer. He was onside.

Alexis didn't go for it at all.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

So it was Kos behind him, onside, and Sanchez to the left not interfering with play...

    How is that offside again???

Yes, maybe I used the wrong term in that instance but you get my point. Sanchez was already offside from initial free kick and when wimmer heads the ball Sanchez is still in an offside position ahead of wimmer.

Anyway, arsenal deserve the lead. Took them a while to figure out Spurs new formation button got into the groove around the half hour mark.

Defender made a bad decision then. He lets Kos (marginal) or Sanchez get the touch and its offside. It's then whether they were deemed to be interfering with play, particularly Sanchez. Don't feel he was interfering though.....

Walcott got a smack in the face. I've seen players being defended here going down in the box for less, under the "contact" argument 🤔🤔🤔

    Stonewall offside

So you want a defender to let the ball off and hope it's offside.

Well it's better than heading it into your own net...

He had a decision to make. He made it.

Webb on BT confirmed its a legit goal as Sanchez wasn't interfering with play.

I don't know how Ian Wright doesn't get it. What's so hard to understand about what Howard Webb said?

Alexis wasn't interfering with play. It was Koscielny nearest to Wimmer and he challenges for the ball, but he was level.
