Leaking Cooper Pipe Joint

    One of the pipes in the boiler is leaking.

    Would this be common to happen after 10 years or so? There are damp stains on the wall so must have been happening for a while.

    Is this a job for a plumber or is this a DIY job.

    Could be a poorly plumbed pressure release valve. As Agusta suggested, a pic would help.

    If you can get a spanner on the top of the valve and try to give it a tighten its on a fibre washer that might have just softened up

    Dry it all off and see if the leak is running down from above.
    After you do that I will leave it to RobbieG to suggest a remedy.
