Finished 3-1 to roma, 2 late goals for roma very harsh on city would of been a different story if that penalty was scored.
Fair play to the lad though no fault whatsoever especially the goal he scored earlier, fantastic!

Wasn't at the match, but full credit to the lads. Looking from the updates, we deserved at least a draw, but were hit by two sucker punches late on. Some going for putting up a performance like that against one of the best academies in the world. There was a crowd of over 3,000 at it. That's an unbelievable attendance for an U19 game. And fair play to the lads for not being fazed by that many fans watching them. It's some step up from playing in front of about 100 people in Bishopstown! Some great prospects in that side, let's hope we see them playing for the senior team in the not too distant future.

For the saved penalty that would have put City 2-1,there three Roma players in the box. Clearly should have been retaken. Why don't refs ever call these infringements? The application of many laws might be down to interpretation, but this is one of the few that are fairly black and white.

Never in my life have i been so eager to watch a football match, just watched the reply of the peno you are completely spot on.
I really feel sorry for the lads though

Cork by all accounts done very well. Great crowd too 3000.
Roma are a superb side. I think the u19's Elite LOI has been a very good decision along with the U17 & soon the U15 section.
Really encouraging year all round thisr for domestic Irish football.

The standard is also improving. UCD have taken it up a notch this season.
