NEW SIDS FOR CBBC HD AND CBEEBIES HD on ASTRA 2

    Hi.

    Just to let everyone iknow, you will recall that just before the Olympics, BBC1 NI, BBC1 NI HD, BBC1 HD, BBC2 HD, BBC2 NI, CBBC SD, CBeebies SD, and BBC4 SD all got brand new SIDs for ROI viewers, preventing you from getting the red button services in the Republic of Ireland.

    You will notice that CBBC HD and CBeebies HD were missing from that list, and yes you've guessed it, today, two new labels have appeared.

    10.847 V SR 23000 FEC 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK

    6972 - CBBC HD

    11.052 H, SR 23000 FEC 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK

    SID 8951 - BBC FOUR HD
    SID 8952 - CBeebies HD

    have now been added. They are currently not on the EPG but are very likely to be soon.

    So a warning to you if you currently can get these channels and have set recordings, you may have to reset the recordings. If you cannot currently see these channels on the Irish EPG, you may soon be getting them, and this may be good news for you.

    Hope we get these HD versions on the ROI epg and maybe BBC News!

    Hello everyone

    Just to advise that the "BBC FOUR HD" label (SID 8951) on 11.023 H is now active from 1858-0530
    The CBeebies HD label is active from 0530-1857.  EPG data is present but only for "This is BBC FOUR HD" and "This is CBeebies HD" at present.

    This has so far been the only change noted since these new SIDs appeared on 1 November.  I am strying to clarify the situation and will let you know when I hear any more info.
