Hi everyone. I bought a bunch of cattle last Monday & to say they were skuttery when I brought them home would be a under statement. I had some animec super so I gave them a dose of it. That's a week ago yesterday & there still very soft. Should it have dried them up by now or should I do them for rumen fluke? There 1 & 1/2 year old.

    Thanks in advance.

It's only a week since you dosed them, if they weren't properly looked after by their previous owners it'll take a while for them to improve i reckon.
Rumen fluke treatments can be hard on cattle so I'd hold off for a bit on that.
Give your vet a call and see what they think.

What they at grass or in on silage? Are you giving them any meal or beef nuts? If they are out on grass then 1.5-2 kg of rarion would help to dry them up.

Dung sampling a cross section of them would give you an idea of if there is a remaining parasite problem to tackle.
