Assume I'm due a full refund?

    Booked bog standard flights earlier in the year online with KLM, codeshare, flying with Delta, Shannon - Orlando via JFK return, got an email from Delta bringing forward our departure date by 24 hours,

    This isn't doable, assume we are entitled to a full refund considering the time difference of the alternative under EU LAW? , they only changed our outbound flight , our connection to Orlando stayed the same so would have to overnight in NY & lose a day of our holiday

    Yeah, since I've posted I've been on to KLM customer service & I've submitted a refund claim online, may take a week or two.... interesting thing is that the original flight itself isn't cancelled, we booked ten months before travelling but Delta have cancelled our KLM booked tickets which would put me off a codeshare in the future

    All worked out ok anyway, have since booked with United, better times & a little cheaper also but they were more expensive at the time of booking

    Hmm that sounds strange. I'd get on to Delta and ask for an explanation.

    anyway, at least you don't have to travel thru JFK which is a blessing
