Driving my wife's car today and I noticed the clutch is very creaky
    It's a 2010 VW golf diesel
Car was bought in April and can't say I've noticed the creak before this

Had a proper look at it when I got home
Not sure if there is an issue TBH
The creak is when I initially put foot on clutch before applying much pressure or clutch really engaging
Compared the feel and sound to the clutch in our 05 focus and it is similar albeit a little louder/creakier in the golf

Could be needs oil or replace the pads usually the case. I had a creak in last car I had and something to do with a ball out of place under it not much of a mechanic but person in garage said something to me about it. Fixed it but only lasted a short while could been my foot too strong on the pedal or shoe sole too thick. Take it to a garage but its probably not too serious but get it looked at just in case.
