Ordinary nursing degree in Scotland please help

I'm currently studying Nursing (mental health) here in Scotland and I'm in 2nd year. I have a few questions as I am quite stressed at the moment. Here in Scotland all 3 year courses including Nursing come under the category ordinary degree but we are getting the very same training as those in England and the rest of the U.K. who are qualifying with an honours degree. My ordinary degree would allow me to register & practice as a nurse here with the Nursing & Midwifery council (Equivalent to An Bord Alt). Is it imperative I gain the fourth year to have an honours degree to work as a mental health nurse in Ireland and other countries abroad? Is it really seen as an ordinary degree? Your help on this matter would greatly be appreciated. Please help
