Tracing a route to Mass tomorrow through the Dublin Marathon

I should have posted this earlier, so it might not be of much use to me, but I have been trying to work out a route to Mass tomorrow. I usually go to 10.30 Mass in St Kevin's church, Harrington St. My starting point is Perrystown-Terenure-Templeogue (three places close to home). I would think proceeding along the Templeville Rd R112 and turning left on to Rathfarnham Road R114. My hope is that I'll have access through Terenure Village in order to continue to Harold's X Bridge and South Circular Rd. Is that a vain hope? Will the routeway be permanently shut all day, at least where I hope to cross in Terenure Village? I think not, I hope not.

You are one of many. Several friends asked me the same thing, they all want to get to their separate churches in the morning. I had no answers for them. Its going to be difficult.

God is everywhere, have a prayer in the living room while watching mass on RTE 1 sure you're grand.

I tried what seemed like the best route with a single crossing point, Terenure Village, but I couldn't even get within a km of it. I'm gonna go for somewhere outside the 'ring of steel.' :pac:

edit: I headed to St John's in Dun Laoghaire. The priest preached a fine sermon on the Social Kingship of Christ and afterwards there there was a short procession with Rosary through the church, outside and back in, followed by Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Benediction. Given all the snarl ups on the R112 my attempt to reach St Kevin's church, I went via the M50.

Lovely day today and I've a horrible cold.

I would agree with this, however, you can't do this if you are expected to be in the pulpit by 11am! :D Hope everyone made it today.
