Garmin satnav upgrade

    Have an old garmin nuvi 50. The upgrade thru garmin website is €60 for one off or €90 for lifetime upgrade. Seems very expensive. Are there any other options?

    Yes. Wait for Halfords Christmas/New Year sale and buy new Garmin with lifetime updates included - all for approx. 90 notes.

    Sell the old one on donedeal for 50.

    Or just sell the satnav and start using your phone (provided you have a phone that can do GPS apps)
