Where's my fork 'n knife

Is it me, or are young people becoming less competent at properly using the tools provided to eat a meal? I can't help but notice young(ish) people having to struggle to cut a piece of meat on their plate or gather up a mouthful to eat. It's as if cutlery is never used on a daily basis

What's going on? Is everybody eating food you pick up and eat, such as pizza or burgers?

Back in the 90s, we ate chocolate bars using cutlery.

Stop looking at the kids through the kitchen window.

You've been warned about that before.

When society breaks down/civilisation collapses, these kids ain't going
    to last ten minutes.

I'll just be competing with the other fogies for who takes over.

Knives are for stabbing, not for cutting your food!

I'm not going to be stabbed by someone who can't manage
    to eat a steak.

I will be like a king to these simple creatures. For the short time
    they live.

Da youff are all about stabbing. They'll make a colander out of you while you're deciding which knife and fork is most appropriate for eating a teenager.

I'd be more worried about those freaks who use a knife and fork to eat pizza...

I had a fun game with my dad whenever we went on holiday: Spot the american by using cutlery.
