You can get a return flight for the same price but you have to also return on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Not to bad but you have to go for a week for a €4 return.

Working out €26 or so if you go Wednesday and come back Sunday.

    A week, or a day.

Few 1 night trips tempting me, still decent availability

    That's still not bad

Pity they've no routes out of Shannon

Thanks OP!! Got return flights for 2 to Glasgow for €8 there.

For anyone trying to do a €4 "2 day" holiday, the only really viable option leaving from Dublin is Glasgow on the 22nd/23rd or 29th/30th, other places have the cheap flights on Tuesday and Wednesday but they're evening fly-out and morning return so not really much point. The above dates have 3 times to choose from on both days, all €2 when I booked

Now where's the "How to travel to Glasgow on a budget..." thread?

There was also Leeds and Newcastle where you could do the same but not very many and they went very quickly.

Managed to get Eindhoven for the 23rd to the 29th after lots of trying. Can't seem to bring up any more flights now though.

Good promo for ryanair - normally one of the routes I fly regular on are a tenner each way mon - thu. Now with the promo the outbound leg may be 2euro but demand has driven the return price right up.

    Is ok for me.

EDIT: Looks like it's partly down, I can access but when I search for flights I do not get any prices.

    From the indo.
Ryanair has been experiencing 'issues' with its website since the launch of its €2 sale. Independent.ie Travel has contacted the airline for clarification. Its IT team "is investigating to resolve this issue," it has tweeted

Flash sale ends midnight tonight...pity they have this outage in the middle of it!

You were way too slow, most of the days and routes sold out.

I booked 3 round trips and didn't pay more than €2.25 for any flight.

I couldn't get anything for €2. Even one way and it wouldn't be so bad.

Now I'm looking at getting a break away where I wouldn't have considered it otherwise.

This is exactly how they make money out of the €2 fares!

If people had been on it faster, they had tons of fares available. It's dumb looking at the end and complaining there aren't any...well no sh*t :P.

Two matches will be on the 29th and the other two on the 30th.

Utd also play West Ham on Sunday the 27th so they'll more than likely be playing them in the league cup on the 30th.
