    Hi All,

Living in Spain so need an Apostille stamp on my birth cert.

It says it takes 2 weeks if you post it in. Is there anyway to speed up the process by calling to Foreign Affairs office in Cork or Dublin?

Or is it 2 weeks from point of receiving document. also does the document owner have to bring it?

    Thanks.

You only need an apostille stamp if you were born outside of Ireland, not if you just live outside?

The Spanish authorities will not accept my birth cert without the Apostille stamp and a translation.

Oh sorry, I misinterpreted your post and assumed you were getting married in Ireland.
