Does the Bank of Ireland have a repsonse to the recent Garda security warning on mobile banking apps?

Is that story just a scare story published by the newspapers for some reason or another, or is there some new issue with mobile banking?

Doesnt answer the question why is the media hell bent publishing these articles if there is apparently  no truth???
