The PROC

Hi I am from Cork and am an avid user of the web. I decided to join here for some balance in my life. I've been observing this site and there seem to be a lot of level-headed folk here. Anyhow I was previously subscribed to "The Proc". I seem to notice that when a thread is started there on a quite serious issue it meanders into parochial backbiting. I was literally barred for posting a "cool story bro" response to a rather tedious thread for 30 days. So when I tried to log-back in there after 30 days i found that rather pedantically I was still barred. There is a local drunk who claimed to be an admin there who threatened to bar me once and I reckon that the old grudges dig deep in cork what with envy and jealousy. Anyhow I am here now amongst the sane clan and let the discovery begin!

Btw: There is a lot of casual racism there that seems to go unnoticed yet you can be banned for trivial observations.

The PROC is an insular place full of jealousy and resentment. The admin is biased, they will ban people on a personal basis probably based on resentment on such people's success. They routinely support bigotry and racism and seem to be awash with guoys who seem dissatisfied in their work/love lives and also inundated with the great unwashed who spew out the usual drivel. There is a particular nasty Rochestown Road/ Douglas element there who are quite obtuse and laughably condescending in their oirishness.

I will leave it off about the proc here now for fear of banning and will promise to uphold the fifth amendment.

Damn it all. Yes it is chidish seems to be full of man-child creatures who I suspect have diminished lifestyles and complexes from being bullied when young.

I was accused of being homophobic there by users who apparently are homosexual but do not feel comfortable with the tag so resort to casual racist observations in an effort to assuage their feelings of guilt and perhaps disappointment they might expect their their parents feel.

bleakforest, I'm not entirely sure what you think Boards is for, but it's not here for you, or anyone else, to use as an outlet to slag off other sites. Keep it up and you'll find PROC isn't the only site you're banned from.
