    hi
i bought a new build due for ready in feb 2017
there is electric hob for cooking in the kitchen
we wanted gas hob for cooking.
builder does not allow any modification due to energy rating, etc
gas hobs are available in other estates and previous phase of the same estate.
but here gas is only for heating.

if i want to get gas hob in the kitchen, how much would it cost?
also, can we get it fitted in during the house construction or should i wait for keys and then get it replaced?
i am assuming we need gas pipe to kitchen. so that would mean some damage to new walls.

    what is your suggestion?
if options are expensive and messy, i may end up living with electric hob.

An induction job might be a good compromise
