Hi i just got this laguna which had a reconditioned turbo in it and apparently it wasn fitted very well as there is a gasket missing, anyway on my way to the parts shop the power cut out and it wont start i have been told that its because i had no more oil in the car as it had all leaked out. Does anybody know is that a safety measure or is the engine in it gone??
I appreciate any advice and thank everyone for any help received

I wouldn't expect the oil leaking out to be a safety measure.

If it cut out due to lack of oil then its new engine time, there is no safety measure like that

    +1.

    No oil = destroyed engine
