Start tomorrow in Saint Quentin en-Yvelines with the team pursuit qualifiers, both TTs, Women's elimination, Men's scratch and the"Stayers" race where each rider is paced by a motorbike

Eurosport are providing coverage but only from Thursday by the looks of it

As usual we will keep discussion within this thread without spoiler tags

Ireland are represented by Eoin Mullen, Felix English, Fintan Ryan and Marc Potts on the men's team. Some new faces in the women's squad which comprises Lydia Boylan, Eileen Burns, Lydia Gurley, Shannon McCurley, Eimear Moran, Anna Turvey and Robyn Stewart

The Omnium is changing to a single day 4 discipline event, with Scratch, Tempo, Elimination and Points races

The Tempo is new and is similar to the Points race, but the sprints in this case are, after the first 5 laps, every lap with extra points for taking a lap. 1 point for a sprint, 4 for taking a lap

The Points race reverts to having double points on the final sprint

Only 3 heats to go, and Anna Turvey has put in a fantastic performance in the IP, currently lying first of the 15 that have gone so far (still some very fast riders to come though). Her time was 3:36.017 only 1.8s outside Caroline Ryan's Irish record
