Supervalu real rewards have gone to shoite, under the old scheme, when you got 500 points you were given a 5% voucher off your shop, now when you get 500 points you get 5 euro in cash back vouchers, works out at 1%

I spoke to the manager of my local store about this, he said but we have these great deals (BoI, expedia, energy ireland), not much use if you don't use them though

The old scheme only worked out at more than 1% if you spent over €100 in one shop, though. 5% of any amount less than €100 is under a fiver.

I go over €100 in a supermarket possibly once a year. Had a subtotal of €101 last night on a voucher raid in Tesco but had €26 in vouchers and that was very much altered spending - topping up in a premium whiskey sale for Christmas and with stacked vouchers.

SV are still rather expensive, which is the main issue.
