    As above. We sold some to neighbour. He picked up out of field. What should we charge?

    I bought some that had seen a good drop of rain before baling but we're totally dry for €7.50. I also bought some that had seen no rain and was baled perfect condition for €9. All barley straw.

    Its between €10/€12 for good quality bales from the field around here.

    Was baled at end of August. Didn't get any rain

    12 quid isn't unreasonable for good straw. Particularly this year.

    My lad charges €10 in the good years and in the bad years and suits me perfect. I draw them away myself which is a bonus for him too id say.

    €6 per bale out of the field for oaten straw that was baled by ourselves
