I am building my own house via direct labour and am about to commence the rising walls. Just wondering if anyone can advise regarding what penetrations i should have in the rising walls for services. I haven't appointed a plumber yet.
At the moment I will have ones for the radon pipe, the downstairs toilet, and an air inlet for the stove.
Do i need to bring pipes for the sink or dishwasher through the rising wall.
Or is there any other penetrations I am missing.

    Thanks

    Water inlet
    Radon circulation penetrations between rooms
    Heat pump ducts???
Depending on floor build up you could bring sink etc out above the subfloor, you need to speak with the engineer

Any services you want to send to the garage?

    Electric Gates

    Site Lighting

Again some of these might be possible in the floor/sub-floor. Depends on your build. This is something you need to think about in detail in collaboration with all your trades! It's a pain in the arse having to try to drill the floor later.

    Rainwater harvesting?

that's only a few of the possibilities.

most of these should be on your drawings no ?

Worth having at least some idea of a design before you build

Building esp nowadays cannot be made up as you go along.
Everything is detailed. Everybody knows where everything goes. If you want to alter something, you alter the plan everybody is working to.
