Clothes for smaller guys

    Specifically where to get trousers.

For years I have been 36 29 (34 29 in the very dim and distant past) and had no troubles finding my size. Over the last while I have lost some weight. The last trousers I bought were 32 29. They have a bit of visible space now so I would like to get 30 29 for the next pair. Usually I buy in M&S but after looking in a few stores 30s seem like gold dust , let alone a 29 leg and whatever minimum ascetic concerns apply.

Is 30 29 small? I still have a bit of a belly and some modest moobs so I wouldn't have thought it was that small. What stores are good for that kind of size.

H&M, Topshop for the cheaper end of things.

The likes of Ted Baker, Penguin, Peter Werth all run small too.
