    Hey guys,

Got my headlights focused for NCT during the week on my E90 (halogen) and have just noticed that the auto-levelling feature when you first turn the car on is only working on one side now. Just wondering if this is an easy enough fix I can do myself before I have to drive back to the garage that focused the lights for me which is a fair bit away from me.

You could have a look yourself and see if there was something obviously disconnected. There should be a motor that moves the reflector up and down for the auto adjust. You need to check the wiring to the motor and then whatever way the motor is connected to the light itself. Just compare both sides and make sure they are connected up the same way.

I know on VW's and Audis i've had with auto leveling the adjusting motors need to be put into adjustment mode with diagnostic software and then re engaged afterwards.

Sounds like they might have adjusted one until the motor popped out of the mechanism, i'm not familiar with the BMW set up though.
