Had to get a damaged licence renewed and was told that it takes up to two weeks to get posted.
    Is this the case?
Seemed very long for what is only a "re-print"
How long are people generally waiting for their licence to be posted?

Re-print or no, the production process is the same. 5 - 8 working days is the official timeframe so yes two weeks is not outside the bounds of possibility.
