So the last couple of mornings, i've opened my front door and up jumps the neighbors cat. It seems the cat is seating huddled up by my front door.

Is the cat do this from heat, the cat looks very slight and seems to be out all day while neighbors are at work/kids at school.

Might just like sleeping there cats appear to be very strange (or a bit stupid depending on how you look at it) when it come to where they sleep. When we had cats years ago they had a nice cat house (like a small dog kennel) but they would spend their time sleeping in the hedge, under the car or on the window sill of the kitchen. Even on a wet night they wouldn't go into it unless they were caught and locked into it so we eventually just left them do as they wanted and left the door of the kennel open if they did ever decide to use it.
