Just wondering if anyone would recommend a mattress topper?
    Do you have one?
Are there any brands you'd recommend?
    Dept?

I bought one of the Argos one half price a couple of years ago, and it was ditched shortly after. Absolute rubbish.

It was 2 or 3 inches of standard foam, not memory foam, and serves little purpose, I then made the mistake of taking it out of the cover and couldnt get it back in, so binned it.

I think mine was half price and cost me maybe £30 or so, so maybe if you bought a better quality one you might get better results?

IKEA have a few different mattress toppers. Prices ranging from €65-€320 for a standard double. Personally, it's not something I'd skimp on. Most of the really cheap ones you'll find (like in argos) will end up in the bin after a few weeks/months.

The memory foam ones in Harvey Normans are quite good. Got a super King one there, they were mental money everywhere but I haggled €100 off the price. They're one of the few places you can get away with this.
Got one in home store and more before thst that was more like a duvet than anything. Useless.

    Don't bother,
Mattress toppers are just an invented fix to a problem that is not there. If your having problems with your mattress, save and invest in a good one. Paying 100 euro for a 50-100 mm foam only delays the issue of having to replace your mattress. They also retain all the sweat and other body materials and start to smell after a while.
