Utility cabinets

    Hi all,
We are doing a house renovation and were going to use ikea for the utility room. However, I'm trying to plan it now and the dimensions don't seem to work for me (e.g. Tallest base cabinet is 80 but I would like a base cabinet to go beside my dryer which is 85cm). Where else should I look for cheap but decent units?
    Thanks a million!

IKEA base cabinets are 80 tall but you have minimum 8cm tall legs under them, giving 88 to underside of worktop.

Just sit the 80 cabinet on 50mm batten.

I'm not sure I'd do that without some moisture barrier to protect the cabinets against water damage. The IKEA legs are super cheap and having just looked at one I note it could be cut down with a hacksaw if needs be to 5cm if that height is critical. The IKEA plinth is also designed to clip to the legs, but going below 8cm means the plinth will have to be trimmed. If you use a batten you'll need some other way of fixing a plinth to it.

Ah, that's good to know, I wasn't sure about legs. So ikea probably the best cheap place even if I have to pay installation costs (no time to do it myself)
