    Hey everyone,

Bit of a shot into the dark here but I might get lucky and someone might know! So basically I'm flyimg from London Heathrow - Shanghai - Dalian with Chinese Eastern airways on the one booking/e-ticket. Anyways they have a class baggage allowance for economy (2x23kg), but not as good for their domestic routes (1x20kg). I was wondering would I get the same luggage allowance on the domestic leg because the whole journey is on the same ticket? If not, would anyone have any idea how to book in an extra case for the domestic leg (very big shot in the dark I know!) Any ideas or help much appreciated!

    Philip

Normally, the greater international allowance applies when travelling on the same ticket.

However, it's always worth confirming with the airline involved to ensure that this is the case.

to throw a small spanner in the works - I think you will get the large allowance to Shanghai - but China domestic flights limit the amount of check in luggage , depending on the carrier

Just in case anyone is wondering and this shows up in search results in years to come, I got the full international allowance on the domestic leg, in fact the luggage got checked through all the way to Dalian from Heathrow so I didn't have to worry about it in Shanghai at all. Bear in mind it was because the two legs were all booked on the one ticket.
