Anybody know what the story is with the large convoy of taxis going around the city with their hands wedged on the horn ?

God I hate taxi drivers. They are worse than cyclists.

I can see that withdrawing your labour,to force your employer to negotiate on your pay demands can be effective when used sparingly.
I'm at a loss to know what self employed taxi drivers hope to achieve.

Ever eager to find any auld sh1te to fill their pages, the Evening Herald will have a piece about it and the taxi drivers will count this as an 'achievement' while the rest of the population couldn't care less.

Realistically, the government isn't going to come up with some scheme to save 20,000 taxi drivers some cash on their insurance, whilst 2 million of us have had to bend over .

You do know that picture is from a news paper article used when the man in question was attacked while going about his business right?

No, inane jumping on the band wagon banter wouldn't outrage me at all.
I never said you made it or said anything about his ordeal.

But fire away and derail the thread, and turn it into a taxi bashing thread.
You've already said you hate them any way.
