    If you are looking for the most up to date version (iPad Air 2), then the costs are pretty much the same everywhere.
    You could buy from Apple UK with the current value on sterling and it might save you a few bob, but you'd have to do the maths.

    If you want an older version, say the Air 1 or older, the likes of Groupon, Pigsback etc routinely have offers on them.

    Otherwise you could try the Apple refurb Store.

    Thanks, some good info there, just lookin for something basic enough so doesn't have to be any of the latest modern ones so I'll follow some of your leads!
