Hi. Does anyone have insider info on this proposed new course starting Sep 2017? Do you think it will work well? Are there already established links between UCC and CIT physics depts? Any possible pit falls? I know it's demand led, but has anyone any idea what the expected demand will be and hence how high the points will go?

    Hi Backpack

links between the physics departments very strong, many CIT lecturers are UCC graduates, and they share research facilities in Tyndall National Institute. Places are limited to 20, so guesswork says maybe 450 points. The UCC course is fairly maths heavy, if that doesn't suit, then the CIT course (which is much more programming oriented) might be the better option.
