TUPE

Have been looking up TUPE resources to find the answer but cannot seem to find an answer to my question. Is there a minimum time period between instances of TUPE'ing for the same group of employees affected?

My company is looking to TUPE us in January (to split off a segment of the company from the remainder of it) and then again in April (to merge with another company).

I don't want to remain with this basket case company any longer but I have 16 years of service and could do with a redundancy payment instead of just leaving. If I could legally challenge the frequency of TUPE events it might help my hand in securing redundancy. Despite several redundancy offerings, I have not been successful in my applications and desperately want out now.

There is no time limits on TUPE, and be careful objecting/refusing to TUPE as an employer can consider it to be offering a resignation and therefore you would be entitled to no redundancy.
