JJ Kavanagh was established in 1919 (included in their bus livery).

In a fast changing world this will be a great achievement for the company on reaching 100 years.

Bus Eireann will be 30 years old next year and will be facing into a uncertain future with mounting financial losses in Expressway.

Anyone know the history of JJ Kavanagh? When did it begin operating as a passenger transport company?

Did you think of looking it up on their website?

    Thanks for the link.

Does anyone know if the directors of Eirebus/Swords Express, Blanchardstown are related to JJ Kavavanagh? It is not mentioned in the above website.

From a google search Sinead Kavanagh and Paddy Kavanagh are directors of Eirebus/Swords Express with an address in Kilkenny.

Bernard Kavanagh/Brendan Tours is another bus operator based in Urlingford. I don't know if they are related to the directors of JJ Kavanagh.
