    Good morning,

I need to transfer £17,000 to the UK today, any suggestions of anyone better to use than my own bank (AIB)?

    Thanks

    Have you tried Currencies Direct?

Ask AIB for a dealer rate and then do same day payment. Usually shows in 2-3 hours.

Check cut off times with them. It may be 12.30

    Transfermate.

Used them with no problems for urgent transfers.

I use cf as well. I doubt you would be able to sign up and transfer that amount same day with any of those transfer services I would imagine it would be raising some red flags.

Thanks for that, transfer mate got me sorted!
AIB would do it but a 1% difference is better in my pocket,

    Regards,
