Lots of air in heating system, have been bleeding - tips?

I have a 2 story house that's about 7 years old with an oil boiler and 3 zones (water, downstairs and upstairs). Didn't build but bought so not fully familiar with heating system.

Water and downstairs is fine but upstairs rads are not heating at all, all air. I have been bleeding bit by bit. Initially a rad will blow out the air under pressure but that pressure will then subside but no water.

If I give it a while or turn on the heating the pressure will build again. Opened a big valve with hose connection downstairs for about 30 seconds and it was all water.

I have also opened 2 valves near the tank in the hot press upstairs, more air.

Any tips with this scenario? Thanks.

Post a few pics of the valves and of what you did with each one.
