Driveway & enbankment sleepers

Looking to get about 160 liner meters of sleepers for a combination of driveway kerbs and low level soil embankments. 200mm x 100mm.

Much prefer the look of new cut oak and the way it silvers - rather than the old railway sleepers.

Any suggestions for where to get them?
And what to look out for in terms of lifespan of them? (Pressure treated, etc..)

Most building or landscape places will do a variety of them. Come in 2.4m lengths, so you're looking for at least 67 of them. Usually come in at €20-25 a pop, but you should be able to negotiate a good price for that volume, as that would be exceptional.

    Thanks Seamus.

In terms of lifespan, would oak be the best option?
Does pressure treating them also enhance their lifespan?

I saw some of these in a co-op superstores today (limerick), sorry didn't check price etc. But would be available through them if you are in Cork, Clare, Limerick, Waterford or Tipperary
