Couple of questions for more experienced members of Forum..

How long to rest? What constitutes a rest period?

Anyone got a plan for someone possibly hoping to go A4 early doors next season? My head is frazzled from online searching.

Google joe friel, cycling coach, then buy his book.

Like everything with coaching. That depends ...
Did you train/race a lot last year?
    Are you fatigued?

For me it'd be two weeks without structure. Just going out without a plan and sticking to keeping the pace as easy as possible.

As another has said "Joe Friel" is your man.
I found that periodisation was a key concept to grasp.
