    Hi all,
still learning here. I just tried to use the FCP in Stillorgan park hotel (talbot now i think)
There was a Tesla parked in the left hand bay happily charging away, I tried to take a Chademo but unfortunately this type of charger will only allow one fast charge at a time.
Or is it that the Tesla was drawing so much AC that it renders the FCP's chademo out of service.

I rang the ESB helpline and they confirmed that this is the case that that particular model of charger can not deliver the AC fast and chademo at the same time.

It doesn't really make sense for them to have two bays then does it?

Thankfully not too many Tesla's out there to cause this too often.

Anyway just a heads up in case anyone else comes across it

In my conversation with the chap on the phone who was very helpful, I asked him about Dublin to Kilkenny and its lack of FCP's en route and unfortunately he confirmed that there are no plans to install additional FCP's along that route and its simply down to budgetary constraints.

Its a shame really as i get the sense that we are reaching a point at where the volume of vehicles is catching up with the infrastructure or is that just me living in Dublin where there seems to be visibly alot of EV's on the road.

Dublin to Kilkenny is well served, you have fast chargers in dublin, naas, carlow and kilkenny

In the case of CCS that list is reduced to just the Naas rapid. Nothing on the M9 at all.

There were plans for the new MSA at Kilcullen to have at least one rapid and it was included on the planning permission.

But the whole MSA is held up due to court proceedings.
