    Looking for advise, just recently cancelled my sky sports and entertainment costed me €70 per month.

    My internet speed isn't great either and i certainly can't watch a video smoothly on my phone if someone in the house is watching a video on my phone too.

    I'm willing to invest in a good reliable android box for movies, shows etc i understand live sport isn't a great choice as theres always lag. So yeah guys i have absolutely no clue what type of box to get and theres so many of them and all look great.

    Is there an android box that works on satellite signals rather than an internet connectiom?

    Do all android boxes come with like pop up ads you get when you watch a football match on a website? Not talking about tv break ads :P

    I've got a small revez satellite box, and a Samsung Blu-ray smart player, that has mirror function I just discovered last night.
    So basically you will need to get a good WiFi signal, I use my phone as a portable hotspot, works fine, and the mirroring means I can watch whatever is on the tablet or phone without needing wires to attach. Very good .
    It also has a recording function and a 500 GB storage but so far I've only managed to route Irish channels through it , still it records great.
    I have also used a nowtv box , so so, and an Amazon fire stick which also has the mirroring facility, great little yoke . Great picture on it . There is also the Chromecast , before you go wading into the unknown Chinese jungle of android boxes.
    Plus if you need help getting Kodi on it, let us know .
    It's really the internet signal you d need to upgrade.
