TV Channels in new flat?

Hi all, I recently moved into a new flat and there is no wire coming in anywhere to connect any TV box to an aerial and I went to to landlady and she said it's not included and I have to sort that myself.

Just wondering is there any box I can buy that has a few channels that I can buy without requiring an outdoor aerial? Or does anyone know of other options? I wouldn't be looking for hundreds of channels just the main few.

Any help would be much appreciated, Thank You.

Where is your flat? If receiving a strong signal your TV may only need an indoor aerial for Saorview. Also has your TV Saorview built in it? If it's bought in the last few years it should have and if so no external box required.

Hi, thanks for the reply ... it's in Limerick City.

I bought it about 2 or 3 years ago so I will have to check that out.

I think she is pushing her luck. TV is virtually a human right these days. Will she allow you to put an aerial on her roof and will she allow you to take it away when you leave?

I think I would be voting with my feet.
