There will be signs of sexual assault likely in both cases - if the person comes forward quickly then testing can be done to show semen and therefore DNA samples etc can determine in the case of incest assault. However DNA does take awhile to come back.

A person (male or female) who has been through rape/incest will be clear to a trained police officer - its a horrific crime and I know you are saying "I don't mean to sound ignorant/rude" but its very hard to say things like that with out sounding like you are accusing sexual assault victims of lying.

Its hard enough for a person to come forward after such a crime, never mind being judged by others.
