Rust / Corrosion on rear door sill - (approx.) cost for weld / repair

    Hi. I have some corrosion on the (nearside) rear door-sill on a '03 Honda Civic. Some photos are attached.

    Does anyone know approx. how much it would cost to get a mechanic to weld / repair this?

    I'm aware the mechanic may have to inspect it manually to give me an actual estimate. Nonetheless ... If some savvy readers could give me an estimate for the repair in a
    - best-case scenario,
    - worst-case scenario, and
    - average scenario,
    it would at least let me know what to expect when taking it to a mechanic for a quote.

    I might be able to get some more photos if needed.

    FWIW, I'm in the Waterford area - but might be willing to travel if necessary. (I usually pass through Dublin about once every two weeks also.)
