Replacing OnePlus X with Moto G4 Plus or something else?

My OnePlus X was stolen by a taxi driver awhile ago, and I have been using a PoS toy phone loaner from a friend, which is so slow and limited I cannot cope with any longer!

Although the OPX would need to be charged by around 7pm each day, and it was just a budget phone, I found it fast, and I absolutely adored it, not least because of the build quality.

I was close to buying one second hand or ordering a new one but then I discovered the Moto G4 Plus. For a similar price, it seems to match or beat the OPX on everything apart from not having an AMOLED screen or notification light. It also has a larger screen, finger print scanner, and more battery.

I am put off by it being made of plastic, rather than glass and metal like the OPX, but I will be putting a protective case on it anyway so it probably does not matter.

    Here is the comparison: http://m.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8050&idPhone2=7630&

    Cannot link from this device.

Just noticed processor model on OPX is larger number Snapdragon so may be faster?

    What do you guys think?

Are you going for the G4 or G4 Plus? G4 Plus seems the way to go, and I think Amazon have them!

Not sure what I will get, only really starting the look this weekend. Was tempted with a Chinese phone but find the lack of 800 Band support a pain on the OPO.

Looking at the Moto range, G4 would be the one I would probably go for but I am a bit of a sucker for gadgets and really like the Motomods on the Z Range
