Ive been googling meal plans all evening and im sick of looking at all these meal plans full of complicated recipes "stir fry, chicken carbonara, etc"
Im looking for a basic lean meal plan to help me lower my body fat percentage
Basically it doesnt bother me how plain or boring the food is or if its the same meals everyday once its going to work.
Im 26, 6ft and about 85kg and probly 25% body fat
Is there anyone on here a similar size that can share a meal plan with me that works?

Do you have a slow cooker?

    nope why ?

Because you can make really good dishes in 5 minutes.

Just to clarify...I presume you mean 5 minutes of prep before putting in the slow cooker for hours?

If you are looking for low-fat diet with minimal effort maybe this:

Breakfast: Scrambled egg (or egg whites if you want to avoid the fatty yolks) and brown bread.

Lunch: homemade veg soup - boil the veg in a pot and then blend. If you've no blender, mash the veg with a potato masher, will be lumpier but still soupy. Chicken salad or chicken salad sandwich on brown bread. Cook chicken breast fillets at home on grill and cut up for salad/sandwich.

Dinner: Any meat - chicken, cod, turkey are the lowest in fat, salmon and steak a bit higher but any will do. Any veg really - I like green veg - and any one of the following: Mashed potato (no milk/cream) or sweet potatoes, baby potatoes, homemade oven chips

Snacks - apple, chicken pieces, granola. If you need to have chocolate the higher the cocoa % the better.

You don't need a meal plan. You just need to understand nutrition a bit more.

Get on MyFitnessPal and start understanding what's in what you eat and take it from there

Yep I prep 5 meals of the week some weeks and they are generally the healthiest meals I'll eat all week, and super tasty.

Seriously, dude, if you think stir fries and carbonara are complicated then I'm not sure any kind of cooking is for you. There's literally five ingredients in carbonara.

I would suggest reading a book called Bigger, Leaner, Stronger. Focus on the section in regards to nutrition. I have done all of my own meal plans and except for my evening snacks everything I make is from scratch.

I have a big chest freezer, every time I cook I cook at least 8 portions. 20+ portions for snacks. I record the weight of all ingredients and macros etc. A lot of work the first time around but after that it's handy.

Colm Calanan (Galway Senior Hurling Goalkeeper), has a free 28 day meal plan and recipe book here:

    https://gallery.mailchimp.com/26335eee53ccb8ad5e194f985/files/Callanan_Fitclub_28DayMealPlan_2000_Calories_3MB.pdf

He runs a couple of fit clubs here in Galway and seems to be getting great results (no affiliation whatsoever!)

The recipes in it are as basic as you'll find but they are varied and tasty. You'll gain a lot more from cooking a variety of healthy meals rather than the same bland, boring meals over and over again. If you're anything like me you'll get fed up of that fairly fast and next thing you know you're back at square one.

I am also reading this book, seems great so far. No BS and to the point.
