I have bought an ex post office 2011 kangoo and the rear pads are wafer thin. I am going to replaced them Saturday but before I dive in ,does anyone know what direction the rear pistons wind in ? Clockwise or anti clockwise? I replaced rear pads and discs on a megane mk2 a few years back by cannot remember which direction I wound the in!thanks

I would imagine clockwise. Does a wind back tool exist that would have an opposite thread allowing you to wine back anti-clockwise?

Some go back clockwise, some counter clockwise, and on some "extra" fun cars like my old mondeo it is clockwise on one side, counterclockwise on the other.

I have found that you won't damage anything IF you start slowly and are going the wrong direction. It might turn, but wont retract.

Make sure to check if you need to align any notches for the handbrake function if the handbrake is done through the rear calipers.

Yes it does. I've only ever used mine on the Mk3 Mondeo. Haven't come across any other car with it.
