I want to get enhanced Bluetooth enabled in my 2013 BMW 5 Series.
Does anyone have any experience of any Cork based people that can do it?

Only thing I can find on google is Fermoy Garage.
Has anyone used these guys for coding?

Would like to use someone that comes recommended.

    Can it be done?
Does it require an additional Bluetooth or upgraded Bluetooth module? Similar to the MULF1 and MULF2 in the E60 range.

What additional features does it have?

From what I can see online it already has the hardware, so it's coding only.
It allows for a2dp, which facilitates streaming music over Bluetooth.

Any advice on someone who could do it?

I thought the Bluetooth streaming is standard? We have the pro nav and we can stream music from our phone, and I wasn't aware that I had the enhanced Bluetooth? I'll check my spec sheet tomorrow.

I'll give it a go. I've coded plenty of E Series BMW NS I have the software to do F Series but I've never coded one yet.

Comes with the pro NAV package as far as I can tell.

I've an f10 with pro media and wasn't aware of this feature.

Have all my music copies into HD anyway but will try it out.

I used this crowd to upgrade my BMW, added bonus of getting your email/texts on the HUD as well as streaming, couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Anyone know if there's any coding that can be done to automatically switch off the auto-stop engine?

Have to press the button every time I start the car which is annoying.

Have you an automatic or manual?

I think in the automatic you start the car, set the stop/start to what you want it to be then turn off the car. This should be the setting it's in everytime you start it up then

The automatic stop/start function by default is engaged when you start the car in both manual and automatics, unless it's possible to code it out. If you select the Sport driving profile then it automatically disables stop/start but again you have to select the driving profile every time you start the car.

Did a google there, it was set to automatically be on on some of the early releases of it, now it's set to last mode. What model of BMW have you?

I think that's 1 that has to go through the main dealers but drop bimmer tech an email and they'll let you know what's available - info@bimmer-tech.net

Did some research online there, apparently it's not possible.

It's silly that you can't set the auto-stop to off by default - third world problems

    Auto Start-Stop OFF by default

Code the CAS Module as follows:

    CAS => 3000 => TC_MSA_DEFAULT_OFF => aktiv

@rebel.ranter any chance you'd be interested in giving it a go?

Hi, sorry I never checked back here till now. Sure I'll give it a go. Since my last update I've had the chance to code two 2015 F30 3 Series. It's even easier to do than the older E Series models!

I coded in lots of stuff like video in motion, SIRI, Auto Stop/Start off by default, ///M start up screen for iDrive, enabled Rolls Royce sounds, and a few more things besides.
