Co-Op Abroad

    Lads/Ladies,
Have any of you gone abroad on co-op, specifically as a language student, and even more specifically as a German language student? I'm fairly apprehensive about the entire process, and the ineptitude of the Co-Op department does little to allay these fears. From what I can gather, going abroad for Co-Op is essentially doing cheap work that's totally unrelated to your course of study for 6 months. Has anyone gone abroad and found their placement enjoyable/of worth to their course?
    Sound.
