Stage 1 commences on October 7th

Stage 1a consists of a personality assessment and basic job simulation questionnaire similar to that encountered in stage 2.
Stage 1b consists of the Verbal reasoning and abstract reasoning (shapes and sequences) tests.

There is approximately a week between 1a and 1b

Your combined score from both 1a and 1b is what gives you your ranking going into stage 2.

Although slightly expensive, career services provide a very detailed course for stage 1

Looking at career services website here the only one close to me is on the 8th of October is this for another campaign or is it similar to prison officer / defence force campaign you have a couple of days to complete it and it starts on the 7th?

You'll be given several days (think it's 5 but don't quote me) to complete the tests.

The stage 1 prep would be for the current campaign. You also get access to their online resources that last 3 months which will be handy for stage 2.
