    Hi.
In between 2 minds between a 2010 seat Leon fr with 119k kms and a seat exeo with same mileage but it's a 2011. History with a leon with egr valve giving trouble, not sure if just bad luck though with that car.
    Any comments welcomed
    Thanks

Exeo is a rebranded Audi A4 B7. In general a class above Leon.

Thanks. Depreciation of Exeo a concern

Very different cars. Depends on what your priorities are, are you after comfort or do you want something that's going to be a bit of run and (most likely) a bit faster?

I like the leon fr but main concern is will it run into egr valve issues.

Exeo for me. You should be able to get one for a steal.

Don't both use variations of the same 2.0 TDi CR engine?

That's a very good point actually. Am I just unlucky with egr valve on the leon I had?

Possibly but they can be a bugbear of the early VAG CR engines.

I had been looking at it online and thought it a little expensive. Nice cars though.

Beyond that I think, know a few people with 2011 1.6 TDi engines that needed egr valves replaced. VW were offering some goodwill if the car had a decent VW service history. Not sure about Seat or Skoda though.
